Porters neck village is a wonderful place to live and work. With a beautiful campus, wonderful Residents, and amazing staff, lots of fun activities, some even with the staff and residents together. Makes Porters Neck Village the best choice for Independent Living.

(Original) As stated above, it is a non profit. It's not cheap, but for a CCRC and the quality of the staff, food and grounds I think it's a bargain. Cost depends on accommodations. Range from small apartments to cottages. Also 2 different plans: less expensive is 50% of joining fee gets returned to resident/family upon leaving, more expensive returns (i think) 90%.
